Lynda Murison

FINE ARTIST

I am a professional artist and have my art exhibited in various Art Galleries and online.

I am forever searching to improve my own art experience, welcoming new challenges. I completed a 3-year curriculum with VAA Art School and other reputable fine art modules with a well-known artist who helped me on my road to success.

After studying at Pretoria Technical College, I started my career as a fashion designer. However, I continued to pursue my art with the encouragement of Walter Battiss who helped me tremendously.

I waited for the right financial opportunity to pursue my fine art career full-time, which happened in 2000. I created an art space in 2013 in the village of Great Brak River, South Africa welcoming art students to experiment and create in an emotionally safe environment. I find there is no better way of improving and learning to paint than on a daily basis. My preferred medium is oil or acrylic on board or canvas sometimes both, creating and interesting mixed media.
